An investigation into sintering of PA6 nanocomposite
Sep 01 2012 · Experimental TMA results indicate that the sintering of PA6 and PA6 nanocomposites occurs in two different steps namely powder coalescence and void removal. Furthermore TMA analysis showed that relevant degradation phenomena occur during the sintering of PA6 and PA6 nanocomposites leading to gas formation in the molten polymer.

Chat OnlineDestruction of cellulose during the process of sintering
On heat-treatment of unsintered PTFE fibres initially a thermo-oxidative destruction takes place and then a pyrolysis of the matrix polymer (cellulose) with simultaneous sintering of the Teflon particles. The end of PTFE sintering coincides in time with the end of the cellulose degradation process. A carbonized residue in the amount of 1.5–2.5 of the fibre weight remains in the yarn.

Jul 08 2013 · Reduction degradation indexThe RDI is a very important parameter which serves to predict the degradation behaviour of the sinter in the lower part of the BF stack. Sinter degradation during reduction at low temperature is normally determined by the RDI static test which is carried out at 550 deg C. Low values of RDI is desirable.

Gadolinium-Doped Ceria (GDC) is a prospective material for application in electrochemical devices. Free sintering in air of GDC powder usually requires temperatures in the range of 1400 to 1600 °C and dwell time of several hours. Recently it was demonstrated that sintering temperature can be significantly decreased when sintering was performed in reducing atmosphere.
